About the Role

1LINK Pvt Ltd, Pakistan’s leading interbank network and payment system operator, is seeking highly experienced and technically strong professionals for the position of Manager / Deputy Manager – Offensive Security. This critical role sits within the Risk & Information Security Department and is responsible for strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture through advanced offensive security practices.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, red teaming, and attack simulations, along with strong leadership and coordination skills.


Position Details

  • Job Title: Manager / Deputy Manager – Offensive Security

  • Experience Required: 8–10 years

  • Education: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant discipline

  • Location: Karachi


Job Role & Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Internal and External VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) programs

  • Handle RFPs, vendor management, and procurement of offensive security tools and projects

  • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments

  • Design and execute real-world attack simulations to identify hidden security gaps beyond automated tools

  • Conduct social engineering exercises and red team engagements to test user awareness, controls, and policies

  • Work closely with internal technical teams to understand security needs and recommend improvements

  • Review identified vulnerabilities with internal and external stakeholders for risk assessment, prioritization, and mitigation

  • Assist in incident response activities when required

  • Ensure alignment with international cybersecurity standards and frameworks


Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, programming, and scripting languages

  • Solid knowledge of international security standards and frameworks, including:

    • ISO 27001

    • PCI-DSS

    • OWASP

    • NIST

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
