To further strengthen its research and policy impact, TMUC is inviting applications from experienced, research-driven, and motivated professionals for senior and mid-level research positions based in Islamabad.

Available Positions

1. Deputy Director – Center for Law & Security

Experience:

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in Think Tanks, Research Centers, Academia, or Corporate Research Units

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage research programs and policy initiatives

• Develop strategic research agendas and institutional partnerships

• Represent the Center in external engagements, conferences, and policy forums

• Oversee publication, policy briefs, and research outputs

2. Research Associate – Center for Law & Security

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in research, policy analysis, or academic institutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality research and contribute to policy papers

• Support senior leadership in program execution and analysis

• Assist in research dissemination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: MPhil / MS in Law, International Relations, Conflict Studies, or a closely related discipline

• Strong analytical, research writing, and policy analysis skills

• Ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams
